Harper had been so bummed that she had big testing at school on her birthday but I think her day made a very nice turn around!We all sat around the table waiting on dad to come in the room so she could open her gifts...so she she thought. When he walked in he was holding this precious girl.
She was so shocked and excited her eyes quickly filled with tears! Harper had absolutely no idea this was coming. (neither did I really) We never even spoke of a puppy and I pretty much fell upon her yesterday.
She said this is like getting a baby sister! She said she never thought she would get anything like this all to herself. I was hoping this would make her feel special and I think it has.
I cannot believe it has been ten years since my baby girl was born! Awaiting her arrival was so exciting and now she will be a teenager before we know it. Oh how I wish I could slow down time!
